We have a fantastic opportunity for a Vet Surgeon to join a highly regarded small animal veterinary practice in the LIVERPOOL area, Merseyside.

Full time opportunity working 4 days a week including some weekends on a rota and occasional OOH cover for holidays and sickness. Practice is a highly regarded local group including a tier 3 hospital and local branches and boasts fantastic facilities and equipment including digital X-ray, ultrasound, various scopes, dental radiography, CO2 laser, laparoscopic equipment, 64 slice CT scanner and a 1.5T MRI scanner.

Role offers a fantastic development opportunity with 50% of your time within the hospital and 50% in a local branch. Ideally you will already have experience in practice and be happy consulting and performing neuterings/small surgical procedures. Some periods of sole charge are required. You will be joining a brilliant team of vets with certificates in medicine, surgery and diagnostic imaging. CPD funding and individual progression is encouraged.

Person Requirements
  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
  • Registered with the RCVS.
  • Happy consulting and performing neuterings/small surgical procedures.
  • Able to work some sole charge.
