We have a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join an amazing team at a small animal veterinary practice near the City of Leeds area, Yorkshire.
Overview
- Excellent full-time opportunity working 4 days a week including 1 in 3 Saturdays on a rota and no Sundays, no OOH.
- The practice is successful and busy with state-of-the-art facilities and up-to-date equipment and technologies including digital X-ray, IM3 dental X-ray, ultrasound, laboratory, surgical suite, class IV laser therapy, separate dog/cat/isolation wards etc.
- Caseload is a varied mix of consults and surgeries with complex soft tissue and orthopaedics also completed in practice.
- Ideally, you will already have at least 2 years experience in practice and good basic surgical and consulting skills.
- Join a lovely, friendly and close-knit team of 3 Vets and 3 RVNs.
- Work alongside a certificate holder in surgery and another working towards a certificate in ophthalmology.
- Generous CPD allowance and certificates funded and supported.
- Well located to the south-west of Leeds city centre.
Person Requirements
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
- Registered with the RCVS.
- Good experience in practice.
- At least 2 years experience in practice.
- Good basic surgical and consulting skills.
