We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal hospital team in the fantastic Leeds area, West Yorkshire. Full time opportunity including 1 in 4 weekends on a rota and with a fixed day off per week (part time hours may also be considered).

The practice is a purpose built, RCVS accredited hospital with state‑of‑the‑art facilities and equipment including on‑site CT scanner.

Role would suit an experienced surgical vet with a PgC or similar in surgery, or looking to work towards it; some experience in orthopaedics would also be desirable. The role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your surgical expertise and you will be working alongside the Surgical Director, performing advanced and more routine surgical procedures. Ideally, you will also be happy to mentor junior colleagues, including the VetGDP programme.

Join a highly skilled team of 18 vets, including multiple certificate holders, handling a diverse and advanced surgical caseload. Fantastic location in the Leeds area or West Yorkshire.

Person Requirements:
  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
  • Registered with the RCVS
  • Experienced surgical vet
  • PgC or similar in surgery, or looking to work towards it
