We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a growing and successful small animal practice in the Heybridge area of ESSEX. Excellent permanent role with hours over 3 or 4 days a week with no out‑of‑hours. The practice is established, successful and growing with up‑to‑date equipment and technologies; in‑house laboratory, ultrasound, digital x‑ray and multi‑parameter monitoring. Caseload is busy, varied and predominantly dogs and cats, alongside some small furries and exotics; areas of interest are encouraged and supported.
Ideally you will already have 4 years + experience in practice and be confident in small animal routine surgeries and consults. If you are seeking a Clinical Lead or Senior position this could be accommodated. Join a fabulous team of 3 Vet Surgeons who enjoy socialising together and work alongside a certificate holder in small animal surgery (including orthopaedics). Pretty location near the Essex coast with direct trains into London, close to the A12 and Southend and Stansted Airports within reach.
Person Requirements
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
- Registered with the RCVS.
- 4 years + experience.
- Confident with routine surgeries and consults.
- Clinical Lead or Senior position could be accommodated.
