We are NOW recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the lovely, friendly team at a small animal veterinary practice in DURHAM area, North East.

Position Details

  • Full time opportunity 40 hours a week includes 1 in 4 Saturdays, no Sundays, no OOH (part time hours also considered)
  • Practice is established, modern and very well equipped including CT, ultrasound, digital and dental x-ray and endoscopy/laparoscopy.
  • Ideally you will have some experience in practice and be confident with routine consults and surgery.
  • This role requires some occasional sole charge.
  • Great development opportunity with a busy and varied caseload to help support your clinical progression.
  • Join a fantastic, experienced and friendly Vet team.
  • Work alongside certificate holders in surgery, dentistry, imaging, cardiology and minimally invasive surgery.
  • CPD allowance and support for your special interests.
  • Well located in popular North East England location, well placed to enjoy the city life of both the historic cities of Durham and York, with fantastic local amenities, good transport links and nearby beaches and countryside.

Person Requirements

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
  • Registered with the RCVS.
  • Some experience in practice.
  • Confident with routine consults and surgery.
  • Looking to further develop.
