We are now recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a fantastic first‑opinion small animal practice in the city of Derby area, East Midlands.
About the Practice
Practice is designed to industry‑leading standards, with state‑of‑the‑art equipment and in‑house laboratory facilities.
Role Overview
Part‑time Veterinary Surgeon working 30 hours per week, including a 1 in 3 Saturdays on a rota, with no Sundays or out‑of‑hours commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general small‑animal surgical and medical procedures.
- Assess and work up cases for medical management and surgical planning.
- Collaborate with a friendly, welcoming and supportive team of three other vets.
- Participate in clinical development and pursue further training, with funding available for certificates.
Person Requirements
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
- Registered with the RCVS.
- Demonstrated general small‑animal surgical and medical skills.
