The predicted salary is between 72000 - 100000 £ per year.
Hours worked over 3 or 4 days per week (9am‑7pm) including 1 in 4 weekends on a rota basis and no OOH. Practice is purpose‑built with great facilities and up‑to‑date equipment and technologies, including ultrasound, digital x‑ray, multi‑parameter monitoring and in‑house laboratory.
Caseload offers a full spectrum of first‑opinion cases with mainly dogs and cats alongside some small furries and exotics and surgical caseload to include neutering, mass removals, dentistry, basic ophthalmic surgery, and emergency surgeries (pyometra, c‑section, foreign bodies, cystotomies) and surgical and non‑surgical wound management.
Role would ideally suit an existing Head Vet looking for change or a Senior Vet looking to step up. Strong surgical and medical skills are required. Join a fabulous team of 3 Vets (including 1 New Graduate), an exceptional 7‑person nurse team, a friendly team of 4 receptionists and an experienced Practice Manager.
CPD allowance and funding towards certificates. Well‑located with great local amenities and transport links – direct train into London Liverpool Street in under 45 minutes, A12 for easy commuting and London Stansted Airport under an hour’s drive.
Person RequirementsDegree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent. Registered with the RCVS. Head Vet looking for change or a Senior Vet looking to step up. Strong surgical and medical skills are required.
