We are now recruiting for a Night Vet to join the OOH team at a small animal veterinary hospital in the fantastic city of Cardiff area, WALES. This is an excellent opportunity working 7 nights on then 7 nights off on a rota but could be considered part time (7 nights on/21 nights off). The practice is a large, RCVS Accredited Small Animal Hospital with state-of-the-art facilities and equipment; CT, advanced ultrasonography, endosurgery facilities, in-house laboratory, dedicated theatres and ECC wards, dental suite, in house rehabilitation etc. This role offers a challenging and varied caseload and would suit an experienced night Vet confident in dealing with emergency medical and surgical procedures. Join a highly skilled and collaborative team working alongside other experienced vets and supported by a large nursing team. It is a fantastic location to enjoy City life of Cardiff and with Welsh Coastal Path and breathtaking mountain and waterfalls nearby.

Person Requirements

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
  • Registered with the RCVS
  • Experienced night Vet
  • Confident in emergency medical and surgical procedures.
