We have a rarely available opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the growing team at a small animal veterinary practice in the sought‑after Bury St Edmunds area, Suffolk.

Full time working 36 hours over 4 days a week, including 1 in 6 Saturdays mornings on a rota, and no Sundays or OOH. The practice is modern and fully equipped with state‑of‑the‑art equipment and first‑class facilities. The caseload offers a good mix of consulting and surgeries; a consult‑only role could be considered if preferred.

The role would suit a vet surgeon with experience in practice, looking to further develop and enjoys working as part of a team. You will be joining a fantastic, friendly and supportive 4‐vet team. This role is perfect for professional development with support and encouragement for achieving accredited learning certificates. Generous CPD allowance and paid memberships.

Bury St Edmunds is described as "the jewel in the crown of Suffolk" surrounded by glorious countryside and within easy reach of Cambridge and Suffolk seaside towns like Aldeburgh.

Person Requirements

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
  • Registered with the RCVS
  • Vet Surgeon with experience in practice
