We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a successful small animal veterinary practice in the city of Birmingham area, West Midlands. Full time hours working Monday to Friday with no OOH. The practice is busy and modern with up-to-date state-of-the-art equipment; dental x-ray, laparoscopy, endoscopy, Kyon TPLO equipment, harmonic scalpel and K-laser etc.
Varied small animal caseload predominantly cats and dogs with very occasional rabbit or other small furry. Ideally you will already have at least 2 years + experience in practice with routine surgical and medical skills. If you are keen to develop your interests there is plenty of opportunity and certificates are encouraged and funded. There is also opportunity to become a Senior Vet if you enjoy helping, guiding and mentoring junior colleagues.
Person Requirements- Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
- Registered with the RCVS
- Experience in practice
- Routine surgical and medical skills
- Salary up to £65,000 per annum FTE (subject to experience)
