We are recruiting for a Head Veterinary Surgeon to join a successful and growing small animal veterinary practice on the outskirts of the City of Birmingham area, West Midlands.

This is a full-time permanent opportunity working 4 days a week with 1 in 3 Saturdays on a rota and no Sundays, no OOH. The practice is a modern, state-of-the-art practice with state-of-the-art facilities and equipment. This is a key role and would suit an existing Head Vet looking for change or an experienced or senior Vet looking to step up.

The role requires the ability to lead, mentor and manage a team. Ideally, you will have experience in more complicated surgical and medical cases; surgical bias is desirable although any specialisms would be welcomed and supported. CPD funding and further study are fully funded and supported.

Well located to enjoy the city life of Birmingham with great transport links, free on-site parking and good motorway access which offers easy commuting.

Person Requirements:

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
  • Registered with the RCVS
  • Existing Head Vet looking for change or experienced or senior Vet looking to step up.
