We have an exciting opportunity for a Head Vet Surgeon to lead and manage the team at a small animal veterinary practice in the Redruth area, Cornwall. This is a full-time opportunity working with 1 in 3 Saturdays on a rota and no Sundays, no out-of-hours work. The practice is spacious and purpose-built with excellent facilities and equipment.
The role would suit either a Head Vet looking for change or an experienced/senior Vet looking to step up. Ideally, you will already have a wealth of experience in GP practice, strong surgical and medical skills, and be able to lead, mentor, and manage a clinical team. This is a great opportunity to develop any specific interests you have, with certification encouraged and fully funded. CPD funding and paid RCVS and VDS memberships are also provided.
Located in stunning Cornwall, surrounded by wonderful scenery and some of the best beaches in the country, relocation packages are offered including visa sponsorship.
Person Requirements:- Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
- Registered with the RCVS
- Head Vet or experienced/senior Vet looking to step up
- Wealth of experience in GP practice
- Strong surgical and medical skills
- Able to lead, mentor, and manage a clinical team
- Salary to £75,000.00 per annum (subject to experience)
