Up to £45,000 including car allowance + benefits

MVP is partnering with a successful business to recruit an experienced Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end site operations at its distribution site at Middleton,

You’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth, safe and efficient running of a warehousing and distribution operation – driving continuous improvement, process development, and coaching your team to deliver best-in-class service. This is a hands-on leadership role with real scope to shape performance, culture and customer experience on site.

What you’ll be doing:

* Manage daily warehouse and transport operations, ensuring all KPIs and contractual commitments are achieved.

* Inspire, lead, and develop your team to consistently deliver operational excellence.

* Champion continuous improvement initiatives and drive cost efficiencies.

* Maintain full compliance with health & safety, HR, and quality standards.

* Contribute to strategic site goals and ensure delivery within budget parameters.

* Act as an ambassador for the company’s core values in all activities.

* Foster strong, trusted relationships with customers and key stakeholders.

What we’re looking for:

* Significant previous experience of successfully managing warehousing, transport, and logistics operations.

* Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.

* Strong commercial acumen and cost management capabilities.

* Skilled communicator with a practical, hands-on leadership style.

* Comprehensive understanding of health & safety and transport regulations.

* IOSH/NEBOSH certified

* International CPC / CPC for Transport Managers
