24/7 Support Line Worker
ARCH Teesside are recruiting for a24/7 Support Line Worker.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our established and respected, specialist sexual violence team.
ARCH Teesside is looking for a skilled, passionate, and professional Support Line Worker to join the team as a member of staff.
ARCH is working in partnership with Rape Crisis England & Wales to deliver a 24-hour, 365-day, Support Line for survivors of sexual violence. The service will provide high-quality, trauma-informed telephone and webchat support and signposting information to survivors of non-recent and recent sexual violence across England and Wales.
We are looking for a woman with excellent communication skills and the ability to provide non-judgemental, non-directive and empowering support to every person who connects to the Support Line. Successful candidates will have experience in providing emotional support on a helpline, a good knowledge and understanding of sexual violence and its impacts and a willingness to work shifts covering daytimes, evenings and weekends.
The post is open to female applicants only as being female is deemed to be a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010 for this role.
Support Line Worker
Remote working; 16-hours per week (4 x 4 hour shift)
Shifts cover the following times daily: 8am-12pm; 12pm-4pm; 4pm-8pm; 8pm-12am.
£14.35 per hour
