LOCATION: North Chailey, BN8 4EF
HOURS: 2-3 days per week with flexibility
DURATION: Initial 1 year
About the role: As an Engineering Assistant Volunteer, you’ll play a hands-on role in keeping our facilities and devices functional, safe, and optimized for the children and young people we support. This is a unique chance to apply your skills in a meaningful way while contributing to the well-being of others.

Your Responsibilities:
- Participate in the maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Contribute to the planning, execution, and monitoring of engineering projects.
- Help ensure that all activities comply with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in managing the inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work.
