MV Commercial is looking for an organised and proactive Sales & Credit Control Administrator to support our busy vehicle sales and finance operations.

This role is ideal for someone with strong administration skills, excellent attention to detail, and the confidence to liaise with customers, funders, finance companies and internal departments.

You will play a key role in supporting the vehicle sales process, from invoicing and payment tracking through to taxation, registration, sales reporting and customer communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare quotations, sales documentation, and customer correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate customer records within our data systems.
  • Track orders through to successful completion and delivery.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team.
  • Customer Accounts & Cash Collection
  • Proactively manage customer accounts to ensure invoices are paid within agreed timescale.
  • Monitor outstanding debt and follow up with customers regarding overdue payments.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to support effective cash collection.
  • Work closely with the Finance team to resolve invoice queries and payment disputes.
  • Assist with credit control activities and support efforts to reduce aged debt.
  • Ensure customer account information is accurate and up to date.
  • Finance Provider & Funding Administration
  • Liaise with external finance providers and funding partners to facilitate customer financing arrangements.
  • Prepare and submit finance documentation accurately and within required timescales.
  • Monitor finance approvals and funding status, ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed.
  • Act as a key point of contact between customers, sales personnel, finance providers, and internal departments.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and finance provider requirements.
  • Customer Service & Relationship Management
  • Respond to customer enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Resolve customer issues relating to orders, deliveries, invoicing, and financing.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
  • Previous experience in sales administration, customer service, credit control, or commercial administration.
  • Experience managing customer accounts and supporting cash collection activities.
  • Strong understanding of sales order processing and invoicing processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the confidence to discuss outstanding payments professionally.
  • Experience liaising with external finance companies, lenders, or funding providers.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.

The ideal candidate will be an organised and commercially aware administrator who understands the importance of both customer service and cash flow.

They will be comfortable building relationships with customers, confidently handling payment discussions, and coordinating with finance providers to ensure funding arrangements are completed efficiently.

They will also be capable of supporting the sales team while helping the business achieve its revenue and cash collection objectives.
