Whatever brought you here, now’s the perfect time to join a team on its way to becoming the first billion-dollar Muslim app. We’re looking for an ambitious Senior Graphic & Motion Designer to own the creative output for Muzz across Europe.
You’ll be responsible for turning marketing and business objectives into strong, culturally relevant creative ideas and storytelling, while ensuring everything we put into the world feels unmistakably Muzz. You’ll lead the regional creative function across all marketing channels, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on creative execution. This is a role for someone who can come up with ideas and make them happen, whilst managing the graphic and motion designer, and freelancers in order to consistently deliver great work.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in creative, advertising, brand, design or a related field, with experience leading creative work or a creative function.
- A strong creative portfolio demonstrating excellent conceptual thinking, storytelling and execution across multiple marketing channels.
- Experience developing integrated creative campaigns from initial concept through to final execution.
- Strong understanding of brand building and creative strategy, with the ability to translate business objectives into compelling creative work.
- Strong hands-on creative skills, with the ability to develop concepts, write creative narratives and bring ideas to life rather than simply manage others.
- Experience leading and mentoring designers, creatives and external/freelance talent.
- Strong creative project and resource management skills, including prioritising work based on business impact, deadlines and available resources.
- Excellent briefing skills, with the ability to ensure creative briefs are clear, complete and connected to business objectives.
- Strong understanding of brand consistency and creative quality, with the confidence to challenge work and maintain high standards.
- Experience working with global brands or distributed teams, balancing local cultural relevance with global brand consistency.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with Marketing, Creative and senior leadership teams.
- Comfortable identifying resource constraints, risks and blockers early and finding practical solutions.
- A collaborative and supportive leadership style that can create a high-performing creative culture.
- Curious about new creative tools, technologies and AI, with an interest in finding ways to improve creative workflows without compromising quality.
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and experience maintaining project files, creative assets and workflows.
Day to day:
- Own the end-to-end creative output for Muzz across the European region and all relevant marketing channels.
- Concept, ideate and develop creative ideas that bring Muzz’s regional storytelling to life.
- Translate business and marketing objectives into clear creative strategies, concepts and executions.

- Lead, mentor and develop regional designers and creatives.
- Review creative work and ensure a consistently high standard across all regional output.
- Act as a brand guardian, ensuring creative work is distinctive, consistent and aligned with Muzz’s global brand.
- Work closely with the Global Creative Manager to align regional execution with global creative standards and guidelines.
- Support localisation of global campaigns while protecting the consistency and integrity of the Muzz brand.
- Ensure creative projects are properly briefed, scoped and aligned with business objectives before work begins.
- Anticipate resource constraints, identify risks and raise potential blockers early.
- Ensure creative projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Maintain organised project files, creative assets and documentation so work can be easily accessed and reused.
- Encourage efficient creative workflows and adoption of approved AI tools where they can improve quality, speed or productivity.
- Identify opportunities to improve creative processes, collaboration and ways of working.
- Foster a collaborative, ambitious and high-performing creative culture across the region.
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of Muzz’s brand, creative system and storytelling.
