Whatever brought you here, now’s the perfect time to join a team that’s on its way to becoming the first billion-dollar Muslim app. We’re looking for a product marketer to join the team to be our expert in all things Muslim marriage.

This role is perfect for someone who:

  • Has 4+ years experience working on product marketing or CRM strategies in the past but wants more ownership end to end.
  • Has worked in a startup or fast-paced consumer setting.
  • Is organised and structured, but able to be flexible as this is a fast-paced startup – things change and we’ll need to change with them.
  • Is results driven and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and delve into the nitty-gritty.
  • Has previous experience running experiments on sending comms via different channels.
  • Has knowledge of automated flows/journeys as well as how to monitor and measure them.
  • Ideally has a strong understanding of Muslim cultures and what challenges/opportunities there might be marketing to this audience.
  • Bonus: Has experience working on international app products.

Day to day:

  • Run experiments to improve conversions at key stages of the member journey, using push notifications, in-app messaging, emails and even changes to the app itself.
  • Take ownership of how we communicate with our members at every stage and continuously update our messaging. Be imaginative on how we can solve the requirement at hand.
  • Work closely with marketing, engineering, data science, and our community support team to drive increased adoption and understanding of our features.
  • Create seamless marketing campaigns to promote new products and features across all platforms.
  • Work with our marketing specialists to ensure we’re getting our messaging right to their countries and advise them on country-specific messaging.
  • Work closely with the Studio creative team to create engaging video, social media and website content.
  • Work with the UX team to feedback on existing features and coordinate how we speak to our members.
  • Highlight and promote our safety features – help us tell this story.
  • Be an advocate for our members and feedback their needs to our feature teams.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years experience working in a product marketing or CRM role.
  • Excellent management and communication skills. You’ll need to work with multiple teams across the business.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Experience with writing captivating and playful copy.
  • Experience working in fast-paced consumer tech or consumer brands.
  • Able to commute to Aldgate, London at least 3 times per week.
  • Bonus: An understanding of Muslim culture and the Muslim scene – either lived or learned.
