We’re looking for a product marketing specialist to join the team to be our expert in all things ASO and Muslim marriage. This role is perfect for someone who’s got 2+ years experience working on product marketing or ASO strategies in the past but wants more ownership end to end.
- You’ve worked in a startup or fast-paced consumer setting.
- You’re organised and structured, but able to be flexible as this is a fast-paced startup – things change and we’ll need to change with them.
- You’re someone who is results driven and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and delve into the nitty-gritty.
- You’ve got previous experience running experiments on ASO and app store localisation to drive conversion in different markets.
- Ideally you have a strong understanding of Muslim cultures and what challenges/opportunities there might be marketing to this audience.
- Strong experience in competitor analysis and keeping on top of trends/movements within our app category.
- Bonus: you’ll have experience working on international app products.
Day to day:
- Run experiments to improve conversions across all relevant markets, using Google Play Store, Apple App Store, screens, keywords, descriptions, and even our ranking on each store.
- Taking ownership of how we communicate with our members through the app stores and continuously updating our messaging. Be imaginative on how we can solve the requirement at hand.
- You’ll work closely with marketing, engineering, data science, and our community support team to drive increased adoption and understanding of our features.
- Creating seamless app highlights and events to promote new products and features across all platforms.
- Work with our marketing specialists to ensure we’re getting our messaging right for their countries and advise them on country specific messaging.
- Work closely with the Creative team to create engaging Custom Product Pages and increase conversion.
- Work with the UX team to feedback on existing features and coordinate how we speak to our members.
- Running continuous competitor analysis and sharing learnings back into the business to help us grow as well as using tools to perform keyword research for each market.
- You’ll be an advocate for our members and feedback their needs to our feature teams.
Requirements:
- 2+ Years experience working in an ASO focussed role.
- Excellent management and communication skills. You’ll need to work with multiple teams across the business.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Experience with key words, search terms, and app store localisation.
- Experience working in fast-paced consumer tech or consumer brands.
- Able to commute to Aldgate, London at least 3 times a week.
- Knowledge of ASO techniques, trends, and understanding of differences across different app stores.
- Bonus: An understanding of Muslim culture and the Muslim scene – either lived or learned.
