The quality of our app is everything to us at Muzz and our QA team is at the heart of it. We’re looking for a Lead Mobile QA Engineer to guide our talented 7 strong team, to ensure we’re building an incredible product our members love.
Muzz is the world’s largest Muslim dating and marriage app. We’ve got over 12 million members and have helped more than 600,000 couples get married. We’re on our way to becoming the first $1 billion Muslim tech brand – but we need your help!
- 2+ years experience of app testing (iOS and Android)
- Significant manual testing experience
- Proven success in building and leading a team
- Skilled in formulating and implementing test strategies
- Use of test management tools (e.g Qase)
- Experience working in an Agile team alongside developers
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. Linear, Jira)
Day to day
- Help teams plan out releases and prioritise work based on the roadmap
- Mentor and guide the team
- Use the right tools to streamline and improve the QA process
- Be the go-to guru for product knowledge
- Ensure common user journeys are problem-free, smooth, and clear
- Triage bugs and make sure important issues are resolved quickly
- Reproduce bugs reported by users and communicate accurate reproduction steps
- Try to break our apps (in the best possible way)
- Attend our London office twice a week
- Mobile test automation experience or an interest
- Experience in API testing (e.g. Postman, curl)
- Experience of testing on both iOS and Android
- Comfortable in databases writing SQL to help collect test data
- Startup experience
