Aldgate, London, Hybrid (3 Days in office)
We're looking for a Global Events Coordinator to help make offline experiences a core part of how Muzz builds community around the world. Events are a big part of how we bring Muzz to life beyond the app. From singles events to larger community experiences, you'll help create a consistent, scalable approach to events across our markets while giving local teams the tools and freedom to make each experience feel relevant to their audience.
You'll own the global events playbook, standards, measurement and operational rhythm, while working closely with Regional Leads and local Event Marketing Specialists who execute events in their markets. This is a role for someone who loves making things happen. You should be equally comfortable building an event strategy, creating a spreadsheet, improving a playbook, analysing attendee feedback and making sure an event with hundreds of people runs smoothly.
- 5+ years of experience in event marketing, experiential marketing, community events, hospitality, event production or a related field.
- Proven experience planning and delivering events at scale, ideally across multiple locations or markets.
- Strong event operations and project management skills, including managing timelines, budgets, suppliers, venues and multiple stakeholders.
- Experience developing repeatable event formats, processes and playbooks that local teams can use.
- Strong understanding of event economics, including budgets, cost per attendee, break-even points, profitability and ROI.
- Highly data-driven, with the ability to establish meaningful event KPIs and use attendee data and feedback to improve experiences over time.
- Experience developing or managing customer feedback and satisfaction measurement, ideally using NPS, surveys or similar methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm and make decisions when things don't go according to plan.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate teams across multiple countries and time zones.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard for event quality and customer experience.
- A strong commercial mindset, understanding that successful events need to deliver both a great experience and sustainable economics.
- Comfortable working with local teams while maintaining global standards and consistency.
- Naturally proactive and organised, with the ability to anticipate problems before they become problems.
- Passionate about creating meaningful offline experiences and communities, not just running events for the sake of events.
Day to day:
- Own the global events strategy, operating rhythm and standards for Muzz.
- Coordinate the delivery of at least one singles or social event per country (of which we have 15 focus countries) per month, working with local on the ground Event Marketing Specialists.
- Coordinate larger-scale events per country each quarter, with higher targets for larger and more mature markets.
- Develop and maintain a global event playbook, with clear localised versions for each country.
- Standardise event formats, processes, checklists and best practices so successful event models can be replicated across markets.
- Work with local teams to identify which event formats are working and where new formats should be tested.
- Support local Event Marketing Specialists with planning, logistics, suppliers, venues, budgets and event-day operations.
- Establish clear standards for event quality, attendee experience and operational delivery.
- Develop a consistent approach to attendee feedback and event ratings so we can measure customer experience and improvement over time.
- Explore opportunities to capture event feedback directly through the Muzz app and other relevant channels.
- Monitor attendance, registration, no-show rates, cost per attendee, revenue and profitability across events.
- Analyse event performance across markets and identify opportunities to improve attendance, economics and customer experience.
- Share event performance, learnings and best practices with Regional Leads and local marketing teams.
- Ensure events are designed to sell out while accounting for expected no-shows.
- Identify operational risks early and work with local teams to resolve them before events take place.
- Build relationships with venues, suppliers, event partners and other external stakeholders where required.
- Continuously improve Muzz's event formats, processes and customer experience based on data and local feedback.
- Help build a scalable global events function that can consistently deliver high-quality experiences across markets.
Must-Haves:
- Global event operations: Proven experience delivering events at scale and can build systems that allow multiple markets to execute consistently and efficiently.
- Data-driven event management: Comfortable working with attendance, cost, profitability, satisfaction and feedback data to identify what is working and what needs to improve.
- Operational excellence: Highly organised, detail-oriented and proactive. Anticipate problems, build robust processes and ensure smooth experiences.
- Commercial & customer mindset: Care equally about the attendee experience and the economics of the event. Balance quality, attendance, cost and profitability.
