We’re looking for Product Owners/Delivery Leads to execute across our Product squads at Muzz!
As the Delivery Lead / Product Owner, you’ll sit across 2 squads, to collaborate across design, engineering, data, and QA in achieving the company’s product initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure daily standups / retros / cycle planning / KO meetings are well organised and work well for the squad
  • Refine the backlog & bring in any relevant bugs/technical tasks highlighted by EL into cycle planning
  • Coordinate with product analysts and EL to ensure monitoring work is queued up and completed
  • Attend design signoff meetings to make sure comments are clarified & documented
  • Proactively unblock squads – coordinating with external squads or stakeholders as needed.
  • Communicate releases across the business, translating technical changes into clear business updates.
  • Draft delivery phase projects in Linear once final designs have been signed off including:

The why – communicating the business outcomes and linking work to the quarterly initiative

Acceptance criteria / intended product behaviour

Assign tasks to relevant squad members including:

Scoping tasks for QA / Engineers / Analyst to fill out their asses the product work and draft any technical considerations on the ticket

Implementation tasks for engineers carry out their work, phased as required

An analysis task for the Product Analyst to be completed a later stage when enough data is accrued

  • Recognise and acknowledge strong contributions in your squads
  • Assess and share regular performance insights with team leads – both praise and areas to grow
  • Write product documentation and update it throughout the process and ensure it’s resolved on successful rollouts
  • Keep product & leadership teams updated on progress of ongoing work, highlighting blockers & bottlenecks or resource constraints
  • Work with leadership team to understand how the results of projects will influence new work into the squad
  • Reporting to Product Lead & Head of Mobile Engineering

Requirements

Must-haves:

  • 2+ years in a similar role, ideally at a start up and/or a fast-paced consumer tech company
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and rallying them around clear outcomes

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience working on mobile-first products
  • Comfort with tools like Linear, Coda, Thoughtspot & Figma
