Whatever brought you here, now’s the perfect time to join a team on its way to becoming the first billion-dollar Muslim app.We’re looking for Product Owners/Delivery Leads to execute across our Product squads at Muzz!As the Delivery Lead / Product Owner, you’ll sit across 2 squads, to collaborate across design, engineering, data, and QA in achieving the company’s product initiatives.If you’re passionate about building mission-driven products with a talented and diverse team this is your chance to make a lasting impact.Develop a competent understanding of your product domainAlways strive to improve:Your technical aptitudeYour ways of working (ensuring you’re working efficiently / being proactive enough)Your understanding of users & their problemsBe comfortable in the unknownBe a team playerWork towards a shared goalYou are enabling/lifting up your team membersUnblock team membersKey ResponsibilitiesEnsure daily standups / retros / cycle planning / KO meetings are well organised and work well for the squadRefine the backlog & bring in any relevant bugs/technical tasks highlighted by EL into cycle planningCoordinate with product analysts and EL to ensure monitoring work is queued up and completedAttend design signoff meetings to make sure comments are clarified & documentedProactively unblock squads – coordinating with external squads or stakeholders as needed.Communicate releases across the business, translating technical changes into clear business updates.Draft delivery phase projects in Linear once final designs have been signed off including:The why – communicating the business outcomes and linking work to the quarterly initiativeAcceptance criteria / intended product behaviourAssign tasks to relevant squad members including:Scoping tasks for QA / Engineers / Analyst to fill out their asses the product work and draft any technical considerations on the ticketImplementation tasks for engineers carry out their work, phased as requiredAn analysis task for the Product Analyst to be completed a later stage when enough data is accruedRecognise and acknowledge strong contributions in your squadsAssess and share regular performance insights with team leads – both praise and areas to growWrite product documentation and update it throughout the process and ensure it’s resolved on successful rolloutsKeep product & leadership teams updated on progress of ongoing work, highlighting blockers & bottlenecks or resource constraintsWork with leadership team to understand how the results of projects will influence new work into the squadReporting to Product Lead & Head of Mobile EngineeringRequirementsMust-haves:2+ years in a similar role, ideally at a start up and/or a fast-paced consumer tech companyExperience working with cross-functional teams and rallying them around clear outcomesNice-to-haves:Experience working on mobile-first productsComfort with tools like Linear, Coda, Thoughtspot & FigmaWhy join Muzz?We’re a profitable Consumer Tech startup, backed by Y Combinator (S17) and based in London .
