Registered Nurse (Complex Care) – Trowbridge United Kingdom.

We are currently recruiting an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our agency team, supporting a individual with complex healthcare needs in their own home in Trowbridge.

This is a part-time agency opportunity, offering regular, ongoing shifts with the potential to progress into a full-time position for the right candidate.

Shift Pattern

  • Thursday, Saturday & Sunday: 07:00 – 17:00

Applicants must be competent and experienced in:

  • Cough Assist therapy (Clearway 2)
  • Enteral medication administration
  • Chest physiotherapy
  • Manual handling using track hoists
  • Supporting an individual who is dependent on an electric wheelchair
  • Passive range of movement exercises
  • Personal care
  • Accurate clinical documentation and record keeping
  • Current NMC registration with no restrictions
  • Full right to work in the UK
  • Previous experience in complex care, community nursing, or a similar clinical setting
  • Confidence working independently within a home care environment
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to recognise and respond appropriately to changes in a patient's condition
  • Compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering outstanding person-centred care

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, effective, and person-centred nursing care within the client's home
  • Manage all aspects of the client's complex clinical needs
  • Provide tracheostomy and ventilation care
  • Administer enteral medications and PEG feeds
  • Deliver respiratory therapies, including chest physiotherapy, cough assist, oxygen therapy, and nebulisers
  • Support with personal care, positioning, and passive exercises
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
  • Work collaboratively with the client, family members, and the wider multidisciplinary team
  • Promote dignity, independence, and the highest standards of clinical care
