We are seeking experienced and resilient Senior Support Workers to join our specialist children's service in Hull, supporting a young person with complex needs and highly challenging behaviours within a residential care setting.

The successful candidate will play a key role in providing therapeutic, person-centred support while ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the child, staff team, and wider community.

Must have worked in one of the following environments:

  • CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services)
  • FCAMHS (Forensic Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services)
  • Secure Units
  • Psychiatric Wards
  • Psychiatric Intensive Care Units (PICU)
  • Residential Children's Homes
  • Supported Living Services
  • Learning Disabilities Services
  • Mental Health Services

Essential Behavioural Support Experience:

  • Aggression and violence
  • Self-harming behaviours
  • Suicide attempts and suicidal ideation
  • Property damage and destructive behaviours
  • Absconding and missing-from-care incidents
  • Sexualised behaviours
  • Substance misuse
  • Weapons-related incidents

Essential Requirements:

  • PMVA (Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression) Training
