We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Development Executive / Showroom Coordinator to join our UK team and become the face of our London showroom in Clerkenwell. This office‑based role will support sales by coordinating appointments in the showroom, opening new doors for our sales managers and helping to generate interest in Mute’s solutions. You will assist with scheduling, help prepare proposals and nurture relationships with clients and prospects. Clerkenwell is Europe’s largest district for contract showrooms and a hub for architects and specifiers, making our showroom a strategic asset that you will use to showcase the functionality and versatility of Mute’s products.
What you’ll do:
- Coordinate the London showroom.
- Manage daily operations of our showroom in Clerkenwell.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, prepare the space for client visits and ensure that all products are presented effectively.
- Host visitors, provide refreshments and deliver initial product overviews before handing over to sales managers when necessary.
- Support sales development.
- Assist the UK sales team by organising meetings and virtual calls, qualifying new leads and generating interest in Mute’s products.
- Help prepare proposals, quotations and follow‑up materials for clients.
- Keep the team’s calendars aligned and ensure a seamless client experience.
- Cultivate relationships with architects and design‑build firms.
- Maintain and expand our database of contacts in the UK design community.
- Reach out to emerging and established professionals, invite them to the showroom and attend networking events to position Mute as a trusted partner.
- Monitor and develop opportunities.
- Support our sales managers by researching end‑user activity in the real‑estate market, including workplace fit‑out and development projects.
- Identify potential opportunities for Mute’s solutions, track them in the CRM and share your findings with the UK sales team to help them engage the largest end users.
- Prepare estimations and quotes.
- Work closely with our sales managers to prepare accurate estimations and proposals in response to client inquiries.
- Ensure that quotations are timely, tailored to customer needs and aligned with Mute’s pricing and product guidelines.
- Manage leads and CRM.
- Actively use leads generated via our website and marketing campaigns.
- Qualify inquiries, nurture them through initial engagement and hand off qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales colleagues.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions, appointments and pipeline status in the CRM.
- Attend events and trainings.
- Assist our sales managers at local trade shows, design festivals and networking events in London.
- Help with event logistics, schedule meetings, coordinate follow‑up activities and support training sessions for partners and clients.
What you bring:
- 2–3 years of experience in sales support, showroom coordination or inside sales, preferably in the design, furniture, interior or building‑products sector.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills; confident in welcoming visitors, managing schedules and delivering engaging presentations.
- Familiarity with the UK architecture and design community, including emerging talent and design‑build companies.
- Ability to network and build relationships.
- Comfortable using CRM systems and office software; detail‑oriented in maintaining records and preparing proposals.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages (e.g., Polish, German or French) are an asset but not necessary for the role.
- Experienced in working within international business structures and collaborating with cross functional teams, partners and stakeholders across diverse markets and cultures.
- Proactive and resourceful, with a passion for design and a willingness to learn technical aspects of Mute’s products.
