Urban Designer in the Southampton area? I am working with a well-established firm who are looking for a creative and skilled Urban Designer to join our growing team near Southampton. The ideal candidate will have a strong design eye, experience in residential development, and be confident using AutoCAD to develop masterplans and layouts. This is a great opportunity to work on meaningful projects that shape communities and places.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop residential masterplans, site layouts, and supporting graphics.
- Produce high-quality drawings and visual material using AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with internal teams, planners, and external consultants.
- Contribute to the design and development of planning applications.
- Ensure projects are well-considered, commercially viable, and policy-compliant.
Requirements:
- Degree in Urban Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience producing design access statements.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (SketchUp, Adobe Suite a plus).
- Experience working on UK residential developments.
