Our client is seeking an experienced Project/Account Director to join their growing London team. You’ll work with key accounts across a variety of events, ensuring every client receives exceptional service. This role suits someone with strong operational event experience who’s confident managing large-scale, high-budget projects and enjoys the pace of agency life.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
Ensure the project team is well-supported, resourced, and set up for smooth delivery.
Project Management
Work with Account teams — or independently — to deliver client projects. Lead communication, manage production elements, oversee budgets, and run your own large-scale events. Responsibilities include supplier coordination, briefing internal teams, managing content and logistics, and ensuring high-quality delivery.
Content Development
Guide content execution, working with the Head of London to align with client strategy.
Event Logistics
Oversee all logistics, including delegate registration and management.
Operational Excellence
Maintain high standards across every project and consistently aim to exceed expectations.
Financial Management
Manage project budgets, reporting, invoicing, and cash flow. Keep costing templates and WIP updated and ensure the Head of London is fully informed.
ISO 9001 Compliance
Maintain process and documentation standards, supporting training for new team members when needed.
New Business Development
Assist with proposals and pitches.
GDPR Compliance
Ensure all projects follow GDPR and company policies.
CRM Management
Keep supplier details and notes up to date.
Health & Safety
Ensure all projects meet safety requirements, including Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
Supplier Management
Build strong supplier relationships and secure quality service at the best value.
Line Management
Support Senior Project Managers and Project Managers through development, appraisals, and recruitment.

Requirements
- Extensive event production experience, ideally agency-based
- Minimum 6 years’ event management experience
- Large-budget and international event experience
- Proven line management experience
- Experience with content across film, print, and presentations
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Full understanding of end-to-end event delivery
