Join a Leading Multi-Disciplinary Design Team Driving Innovation in the Aviation Sector.

We’re working with a highly respected design consultancy who are on the lookout for a Senior Architect with strong aviation sector experience. This is a unique opportunity to step into a lead role where you’ll manage design delivery on major UK aviation projects and shape the built environment in one of the most complex and regulated sectors.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading multi-disciplinary project teams from RIBA Stage 0 to 7
  • Managing internal teams (Architects, Technologists, Early Careers talent) and coordinating with external stakeholders
  • Producing high-quality architectural designs, technical details and specifications
  • Acting as a key client liaison, balancing design innovation with compliance and feasibility
  • Contributing to fee proposals, project planning, and overall design strategy
  • Supporting junior staff development and promoting a collaborative, high-performing team culture

What You’ll Bring:

  • ARB-registered Architect (RIBA preferred)
  • Solid background delivering large-scale aviation projects (ideally Heathrow and/or Gatwick standards)
  • Advanced Revit skills (Autodesk Revit 3D proficiency required)
  • Strong knowledge of UK Building Regs, British Standards and CDM regulations
  • Confident communicator, both in presentations and cross-discipline collaboration
  • Experience with NBS Chorus specification writing

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience managing diverse teams from graduate to senior level
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of project financials
  • Experience working with external design consultants
