Furniture Designer – Global Luxury Design Studio

Location: Chelsea, London

Salary: DOE

Start Date: ASAP

A globally recognised design studio with celebrated offices in London and Miami is seeking a Furniture Designer with an exceptional eye for detail and a passion for creating one-of-a-kind pieces for some of the world’s most discerning clients.

Working within a talented, multidisciplinary team, this designer will focus on conceiving and developing bespoke furniture and fittings for high-net-worth individuals. From sofas, chairs, and tables to lighting, switches, and statement accessories, no detail is too small and no concept too ambitious. Many of these designs will not only transform individual projects but may also be refined for production and showcased in the studio’s own collection.

The ideal candidate will be confident in hand sketching ideas as well as translating them into precise technical drawings, working seamlessly from concept to realisation. They will have an innate understanding of luxury materials, artisanal craftsmanship, and manufacturing processes, ensuring that each piece combines beauty, functionality, and longevity.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing bespoke furniture, lighting, and fittings for luxury interiors.
  • Producing hand sketches and detailed technical drawings for production.
  • Liaising with suppliers, artisans, and workshops to achieve exceptional finishes.
  • Working closely with the FF&E and interiors teams to ensure a cohesive design language across projects.

This is a rare opportunity to join a globally celebrated practice where creativity knows no bounds and craftsmanship is paramount. If you can envision a piece of furniture that will be treasured for generations — and then bring it to life — this could be your next chapter.
