Responsibilities:
- Owner of interaction and user flow design standards
- Work with product managers and designers to shape features and content
- Apply a user-centric approach to feature design and interaction design
- Craft highly intuitive and usable user interfaces, with excellent component selection and design
- Translate user research into tangible designs and drive UXR relationship
- Act as an authority on design and research – help teams empathise with users and master the design process
- Ensure every screen, touch and interaction is rewarding and enjoyable to engage with throughout the game user-flow
Requirements:
- Proven commercial experience as an UX/Digital Product Designer, with games experience a bonus
- Practical experience working through the entire design process, from Discovery and product definition, to detailed production and launch
- Exceptional core UX design skills. Strong familiarity with user design patterns, standards and widely recognised approaches in the design industry
- Experience working with and advancing the use of design systems
- Confidence working with developers and product managers, advocating for and offering expertise on UX design during game development
- Practical experience facilitating good design strategy within a product team, guiding and educating others in user-centric ways of working
- Experience leading workshop exercises and group co-creation sessions
- Superb communication – with the ability to present design work, rationale, process and approach – with confidence and clarity
- Experience educating others about the difference design makes – explaining processes and activities to colleagues with business and technical backgrounds, and instructing in user-centric methods
- A portfolio or presentation showcasing your work and design process
