We are looking for a dynamic and detail-driven individual to join our team, working at the intersection of exclusive merchandise and live music culture. This role plays a key part in managing and expanding our Music Merchandise program through the day-to-day management of our e-commerce store, with a focus on developing commercial merchandise as a significant growth area for the charity.

Working alongside the Music and Merchandise Manager and Senior Music and Merchandise Manager, the role oversees a dynamic portfolio of high-quality, limited-edition merchandise projects, coordinates product launches on the webstore, and manages merchandise operations across the live event series at the Royal Albert Hall.

Working closely with artists, production teams, and external partners, the successful candidate will bring bold ideas to life—ensuring each launch captures the brand’s creative edge and cultural relevance. From pre-order campaigns to onsite event sales, you will be responsible for delivering a seamless e-commerce and merchandise experience that engages fans and drives revenue.

This position is ideal for a creatively driven individual with a deep passion for music and merchandise, and a strong understanding of fan culture—particularly within a fundraising context in the music and entertainment industry.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Reporting to the Music and Merchandise Manager, you will take charge of our highvalue, limited-edition merchandise inventory, oversee the e-commerce platform, and be the first point of contact for customer queries – ensuring the store delivers an exceptional customer experience with end-to-end excellence.
  • You will lead on promoting merchandise to relevant audiences, using your expertise in music communities, content creation, digital marketing to ensure products reach the right people with maximum impact.
  • You will co-ordinate with the Digital and Marketing teams to schedule campaigns, track audience insights and develop buyer personas which will help shape merchandise strategies and product development.
  • You will manage a small portfolio of merchandise products and be responsible for the respective project budgets, overseeing end-to-end delivery, and maintaining quality control at every stage of production to meet the highest standards and achieve fundraising targets.
  • You will manage relationships across the supply chain and music industry — including talent and their teams — negotiating with stakeholders to coordinate multiple product campaigns, develop new merchandise, and support long-term commercial growth.
  • You will actively support the Music and Merchandise Manager in the planning and onsite delivery of the Teenage Cancer Trust events at the Royal Albert Hall by leading the creation of branded and artist collaboration merchandise, manage merchandise stock, deliveries, sales and reporting to achieve financial targets. This will also involve working closely with venue teams to deliver high-profile exhibits and ensure operations run smoothly on-site.
  • Your responsibilities will also include supporting the smooth delivery of projects through key administrative tasks such as tracking and reporting on merchandise sales, sharing insights with the wider team, running due diligence checks, co-ordinating deliveries and keeping the team calendar and planner up to date.

You may be asked to undertake any other duties that are commensurate with the post as requested by your manager and you must carry out the duties of post in accordance with Teenage Cancer Trust policies and procedures.

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • A passion for music with a strong understanding of music audiences and trends.
  • Proven experience using data analysis to inform marketing and track sales.
  • Experience working in the creative industries (e.g. music, arts, fashion)
  • Demonstrable knowledge of e-commerce, merchandising and customer experience.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of digital marketing and familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and consideration for the handling and presentation of highvalue products, ensuring their quality and integrity are maintained.
  • A creative thinker with a strong eye for visual storytelling and brand expression.
  • Confident and clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with senior stakeholders, high-profile talent, and their teams.
