Are you passionate about music, entertainment and publicity? Music and talent publicity company Edge Entertainment is on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Assistant to join our energetic team in the heart of London. This is a unique opportunity to work across our dynamic network of companies – music PR, talent PR and music management – supporting exciting campaigns and making sure the company runs smoothly.

We deliver fully integrated, strategic publicity for music artists and entertainment talent. With a hands‑on approach to every campaign, we ensure consistency across all media platforms TV, press, radio, podcasts and online for maximum impact. As Assistant, you’ll play a key role in helping to generate daily coverage and keep the wheels of high‑profile campaigns turning.

What You’ll Do:

  • Monitor and collate media coverage on a daily basis with help from our cuttings service
  • Help secure and track daily press coverage across multiple campaigns
  • Compile and distribute weekly campaign reports to clients
  • Write and send out engaging press releases and media alerts
  • Maintain up‑to‑date calendars, schedules, travel itineraries, and media database
  • Manage social media channels and assist with content creation
  • Coordinate logistics for press nights, events and promo days, and help set up TV appearances
  • Assist with general office admin including expense filing and documentation
  • Book cars, transport, trips and restaurants

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in the industry and a knowledge of how it works
  • A genuine passion for all things music, entertainment and media
  • Solid knowledge of key media platforms, outlets and trends across social media
  • A positive attitude and a team player who is willing to get stuck in

Working Hours:

Core hours are 10am–6pm, Monday to Friday, but flexibility is essential – weekend work and longer hours will be required. Monday and Friday are from home unless there is promo or a reason to be in the office. Emails and texts are expected to be responded to during daytime hours outside of the core hours.
