We are looking for an experienced, highly organized, highly skilled and diverse Label Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of our music releases at Perfect Havoc. This role sits at the centre of the label’s operations, coordinating between artists, management, marketing teams, distributors, and DSPs to ensure releases are executed successfully. The Label Manager will manage release schedules, marketing campaigns, digital distribution, and day‑to‑day artist/manager relationships while ensuring all projects run on time and within budget. The role will also entail assisting with administrative tasks associated with the company’s management roster and publishing arm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Release Management
    • Plan and manage the full lifecycle of music releases from delivery to launch.
    • Coordinate release timelines, ensuring all assets, metadata, and deliverables are submitted on time.
    • Manage release schedules across singles, EPs, and albums.
    • Liaise with digital distributors and DSPs to ensure releases go live correctly.
    • Act as the primary contact between the label and artist teams.
    • Coordinate campaign planning with artists and managers.
    • Ensure artists deliver all required assets including masters, artwork, credits, and promotional materials.
  • Marketing & Campaign Coordination
    • Work closely with marketing teams to develop release campaigns.
    • Coordinate digital marketing, playlist pitching, social media content, and promotional strategies.
    • Track campaign performance and provide regular reports.
  • Operations & Administration
    • Maintain label systems including release schedules, metadata databases, and project management tools.
    • Ensure correct copyright, publishing splits, and metadata are delivered.
    • Coordinate contracts, licensing documentation, and rights information where required.
  • Distribution & DSP Relations
    • Upload and manage releases through our partners at The Orchard and Workstation.
    • Coordinate editorial pitching for streaming platforms.
    • Monitor streaming performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Data & Reporting
    • Analyse streaming and sales data to assess campaign performance.
    • Produce weekly reports on releases, marketing activity, and key metrics.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in label management, digital distribution, or music marketing.
  • Strong understanding of the modern streaming ecosystem.
  • Experience working with distribution platforms such as The Orchard’s Workstation and Platoon.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills when working with artists and management teams.
  • Experience coordinating marketing campaigns for music releases.
  • Knowledge of music metadata, rights, and digital delivery.
