Are you in the Midlands and looking to create positive social change, meet people and learn new things? MTW wants committed, motivated people as Trustees. Please apply if you have skills or experience in Finance, Digital, Safeguarding, Fundraising, Company Secretary, EDI or Environmental sustainability.
What difference will you make? As a trustee with skills/experience in Finance, Digital, Safeguarding, Fundraising, Company Secretary, EDI or environmental sustainability, you will complement the skills base of our existing Trustees and help us to support MTW. If you don't have these skills/experience, do consider applying anyway! We're keen to hear from people with time and energy to commit to MTW's valuable work.
What are we looking for?
- Trustees with skills/experience in Finance, Digital, Safeguarding, Fundraising, Company Secretary, EDI or environmental sustainability.
- Time and energy to commit to MTW's valuable work.
- Board diversity: background in social care, safeguarding, Music Therapy, or related field, or reflecting MTW’s beneficiaries.
What will you be doing? As a trustee you’ll have an essential role in shaping the future direction of MTW, enabling more people to benefit from music therapy. 2026 is year 1 of MTW's 3‑year strategic plan and we hope the next 3 years will see some incredible new advances in MTW's mission. Our board has a close relationship with our management team and prides itself on being friendly and inclusive. We have sub‑committees that provide direction on strategy, finance and marketing so you can get more involved.
