We are seeking a highly qualified violin teacher to join our thriving Music Department on a self-employed basis to start in September 2026. The pupils at Babington House receive a first-class education and we ensure outstanding quality and exemplary support for the young people we serve. Our school offers a nurturing yet academically challenging environment for our pupils, of which the successful candidate will be expected to foster.
Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will be committed to training young musicians of all abilities in both the Prep and Senior School and should be engaging in their teaching style.
- You should be available for at least one full day of teaching on a Monday, with a possibility of extending hours to another day.
Qualifications
- You should have a music degree and some previous experience of teaching or working with young people, along with excellent communication and organisational skills.
- You will be committed and enthusiastic, with a passion for music and ensure our pupils are tutored in a happy, safe and stimulating environment.
- As a Visiting Music Teacher, you will be valued and supported; in return, we are looking for individuals who are patient, punctual and reliable.
This is a self-employed position, with payments made directly from the parents of the students. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
