Are you a passionate musician who takes pride in nurturing young talent and thrives in a close-knit, supportive team? If so, we are seeking a dedicated Visiting Music Teacher (Guitar) to join our friendly and hardworking Music Department. As a Visiting Music Teacher, you will play a vital role in the daily life of our school. You will be responsible for creating an inspiring and professional environment where children can explore their creativity, build confidence, and express themselves musically.

From delivering engaging 1-to-1 lessons to preparing pupils for their first performances or senior school scholarships, your expertise will help shape their lifelong musical journeys. You will also have the opportunity to build a thriving guitar community, including rock bands and ensembles, ensuring our pupils’ musical experiences remain fresh, diverse, and inviting.

Whether you have extensive experience in guitar pedagogy or are a professional performer with a natural gift for teaching, we want to hear from you. We are looking for a practitioner who works with care and purpose, possesses excellent communication skills, and maintains high standards across classical, acoustic, and electrical guitar.

  • This is a visiting (self-employed) role starting in the Summer Term 2026.
  • Visiting Music Teachers at Brambletye manage their own timetables and set their own hourly rates.
  • Lessons: Typically 30 minutes in duration, delivered during the school day.
  • Support: You will receive full support from the Director of Music to integrate into our wider musical programme.
