St Faith’s, North Dulwich is seeking to appoint a gifted musician to take a lead on all aspects of the musical life of the Church as Director of Music, and to take forward the work of their children’s choir in the Anglican choral tradition.
We seek someone who is:
- A strong choral practitioner who works well with children.
- An excellent teacher with good keyboard skills.
- Able to play the organ (though we would be prepared to be flexible with this for an exceptional choral practitioner).
- Able to teach children from a diverse range of backgrounds and of differing levels of experience of faith.
- Passionate about giving first class musical education to those who would not necessarily have the opportunity.
- Understanding of the place of music within the liturgy, and sympathetic to the ethos of the Church of England.
