We’re a dynamic and passionate music charity rooted in Thornton Heath, Croydon, committed to making music education and creative experiences accessible to our local community. We’re looking for a warm, organised, and reliable individual to be the welcoming face of our centre.
Role Overview
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM (20 hours/week) London Living Wage – £13.85 per hour
• Start Date: As soon as possible
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting and assisting visitors, students, parents, and volunteers
- Handling phone calls and email correspondence
- Coordinating bookings and managing room schedules
- Maintaining a tidy and professional reception area
- Performing basic administrative tasks (data entry, filing, photocopying)
- Supporting staff and responding to general enquiries
What We’re Looking For
- Matured with a minimum of 3 years of experience in reception or admin roles (Essential)
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Friendly, dependable, and professional attitude
- A passion for the arts or community engagement is a plus
- Ability to use your own initiative and work as part of a team
- Local to Croydon and or South London
