£38,626 - £41,511 per year dependent on experience. West Sussex Music is seeking an exceptional singing and choral specialist to lead our locality school choral projects and massed singing events. Someone who will make a difference to the lives of thousands of young people and who understands the incredible power of choral singing to improve wellbeing.

Contract Type: Full-Time Permanent or Part-time 0.8 FTE (4 days per week)

Location: West Sussex (base in Horsham)

Responsibilities:

  • Support the WSM singing strategy, which is committed to increasing access to, and participation in, high‑quality singing and choral opportunities.
  • Build effective partnerships with schools and teachers to meet the needs of children and young people across different communities.
  • Share responsibility with other lead teachers and managers for developing and growing WSM’s work.
  • Travel extensively across West Sussex, including Saturday and evening commitments, requiring flexibility.
