About the role

The Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) is a leading international conservatoire based in Manchester. RNCM Young Strings provides musical training to young people aged 5 to 12. We are looking for an Upper Strings Tutor to join our Saturday team, beginning 5 September 2026. The tutor will teach regular small‑group violin and viola lessons on Saturdays from 9.00 to 11.00 a.m. Classes take place at Manchester High School for Girls.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver small‑group violin and viola lessons on Saturdays (9.00–11.00 a.m.)
  • Integrate musicianship with instrumental teaching approaches

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with approaches that integrate musicianship and instrumental instruction
