Bolton and Blackburn with Darwen Music Service wishes to appoint an enthusiastic & experienced part-time Teacher of Guitar. You will join a high performing and experienced team of teachers and will be required to teach whole class, groups and individuals in schools. There will also be opportunities to support our evening music ensembles. This is a part-time post and could increase if candidates can offer specialist teaching in other instruments.
About You
The successful applicant will have a passion for teaching in schools, for inspiring young people to engage with music, and will be an excellent team player. You will have experience of teaching whole classes in primary schools and also teaching individuals and groups to a high musical standard. You will demonstrate a high level of personal musicianship, and this will shine through your teaching.
Bolton Music Service works with the local community in Bolton and Blackburn with Darwen to increase access to quality music making.
