There is significant potential to increase your hours through pupil recruitment, which could lead to additional small group/individual lessons and Whole Class Ensemble Tuition. New teachers are eligible for 15 hours of paid recruitment time as directed by your line manager.

We work with children, young people, and adults from diverse backgrounds; we aim to provide musical opportunities that can engage everyone across Kirklees. Our commitment to inclusivity is woven into everything we do.

£29.12 per contact hour (hourly paid). Teachers' Pension Scheme available. Leading string groups on a Saturday morning at Musica Shelley from 8.15am - 12.00pm. Teaching hours can be arranged across two or more weekdays, with a third day available for recruitment activities.

Additional Information: A full driving licence and access to transport are desirable as the teaching element of the role is based in several different schools.
