M:Tech is seeking an Education & Quality Lead to drive the quality, consistency and ongoing development of our educational programme.

Location: Guildford

Contract type: Full-time Permanent

Start date: August 2026

Reports to: Head of Education

About the Role

Working closely with the Head of Education, Regional Managers and teachers, you will play a key role in ensuring high standards across teaching and learning. This includes supporting teacher development, leading on quality assurance, and contributing to curriculum and operational delivery. You will also support Regional Managers who oversee groups of teachers across the country, helping to ensure consistent delivery and strong outcomes for schools and learners. A key part of the role includes supporting the rollout of our Creative Musicianship pathway, delivered in partnership with ABRSM.

What you’ll do:

  • Support Regional Managers to maintain high teaching standards across cohorts
  • Identify and support teachers requiring development
  • Carry out lesson observations and provide clear, actionable feedback
  • Support onboarding, training and ongoing professional development
  • Lead on quality assurance processes, including monitoring and feedback cycles
  • Support delivery and assessment of the Creative Musicianship pathway
  • Develop teaching resources, assessments and curriculum materials
  • Support operational delivery, planning and coordination across programmes
  • Engage with schools, teachers and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery
  • Support safeguarding, compliance and safe working practices

About you:

  • Teaching experience in a primary or early years setting with a passion for creative learning
  • Strong musicianship and confident understanding of key musical concepts and terminology with practical experience with music production workflows and industry-standard DAWs (e.g. GarageBand, Logic Pro, Cubase and equivalents)
  • Good classroom practice, learner engagement and communication skills
  • Experience supporting, coaching or developing colleagues
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Comfortable working across digital platforms and educational technology
  • Experience conducting lesson observations and providing developmental feedback
  • Experience developing educational resources or curriculum materials
  • Knowledge of music technology education
  • Experience working across multiple schools or educational settings
  • Experience supporting qualification delivery or assessment processes
