Candidates should have:
- Experience in music education, with a high level specialism in one area and knowledgeable of a music education hub
- The ability to generate relationships with schools and stakeholders to expand the delivery of music education across the city and inspire the next generation of musicians
- Deliver and lead sessions in their musical area of expertise
- Confidence to teach and build relationships to support young people access music as a tool to support wider growth and personal development
- Deliver and coordinate projects and events both inside and outside of the school day and be flexible to work evenings and weekends across the whole year.
