Bury Music Service is looking for a dedicated and passionate upper strings tutor to join our experienced and welcoming strings team. Your role would be to take on existing violin pupils both in schools during the day and/or at Bury Music Centre in the evenings and to recruit and develop new students.
We are seeking individuals to teach both individual and group lessons, part time, in schools and at our music centre. We are looking for candidates:
- With the ability to show high levels of musicianship and knowledge of their instrument.
- Who can enthuse and motivate young people of all musical abilities and backgrounds.
- Who can deliver high quality and engaging instrumental lessons for all age groups.
- To show dedication to the musical development of our students.
Other key requirements:
- It is essential for applicants to hold a valid UK driving licence and have use of a car in order to travel between venues across Bury.
- An enhanced DBS check is required.
Total hours would be 7.75 per week. Final hours are subject to confirmation of buyback from schools.
