North Yorkshire & York Music Hub are seeking board members to support the governance, strategic development and oversight of the new regional Music Hub established in September 2024. These voluntary roles offer the chance to shape music education across one of the largest and most diverse regions in England, ensuring children and young people can access high‑quality and inclusive musical opportunities.
Term: Fixed term (typically 3 years)
Time commitment: Four face‑to‑face board meetings per academic year plus preparation.
Responsibilities and expectations include:
- Provide constructive challenge and support effective oversight.
- Actively contribute to Board discussions and decision‑making.
- Support the governance, strategic development and oversight of the Hub.
- Participate in four face‑to‑face board meetings each academic year and prepare accordingly.
