An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate Brass Teacher (preferably trombone) and Upper Strings teacher to join the vibrant team at Redbridge Music Service, part of Vision Redbridge Culture and Leisure.
Based at the John Savage Centre in Hainault, and delivering tuition in 48 Redbridge schools you will find yourself immersed in a world of musical energy, surrounded by instruments, creativity, and passion for teaching children but also adults, toddlers, and even babies. With over 50 concerts per year, including performances at iconic venues like the Royal Albert Hall, your role will directly impact the musical journeys of talented students in the community.
Essential Requirements
- Music Degree or equivalent
- Good Musical Skills, effective oral and written communication
- High level of performance on your main instrument
- Good knowledge of the technical demands of any instrument you are competent to teach.
Enhanced DBS checks will be undertaken as part of the recruitment process. It will be necessary to request references before being invited to interview as part of safer recruitment.
