As we continue our journey toward becoming Ireland’s most trusted and sustainable business, we have an exciting opportunity for a successful candidate to join our team as a Transport Planner in Drinks Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production of daily and weekly plans for the operations using Transport Planning systems. It will be essential that they work to strict SLAs in terms of timescales and quality. The ideal candidate will also be skilled in analysing actual operational performance and amending planning parameters accordingly, with strong communication skills with all relevant teams.
What you’ll be doing:
- Overseeing the production of the daily and weekly plans for the operations using Transport Planning systems.
- Plan in accordance with driver hours legislation.
- Actively manage transport.
- Communicate with warehouse, admin, sales, telesales and transport teams.
- Identify and report all operational problems to the Operations Manager on a regular basis, making recommendations for improvement and regularly analysing reports against KPI targets.
- Work to strict SLAs in terms of timescales and quality.
- Analyse reports against KPI targets and advise on actions to improve results.
- Analyse actual operational performance and amend planning parameters accordingly.
- Communicate with warehouse, admin and transport teams.
- Flexible in work place as the role will require holiday cover for our Duncrue site.
