The role:
Reporting to the Trading Manager, the trading assistant will be responsible for providing administration support to a group of Trading Managers. Day to day the role will include the collation, verifying and presentation of information to a set deadline and set standard, ensuring great attention to detail. This role will support a group of Trading Managers and will involve interfacing with suppliers, retailers and internal customers. The role is Full time, 37.5 hour permanent contract, location is based Dargan Drive Belfast, Hybrid working 3 days onsite and 2 days at home.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide comprehensive administration support
- Collation, verifying and presentation of information
- Timely and accurate processing of data
- Gather, coordinate and maintain all key trading information from suppliers or any other source on behalf of designated trading managers.
- Pass accurate paperwork to Price File team for processing.
- Proactive resolution of supplier pricing queries/range cleansing
- Build effective cross functional relationships to enhance service delivery
- Ensure adherence to company policy and calendar deadlines
- Act as focal interface on behalf of trading for retailer related activity/outputs
- Collation of retailer bulletin information and communications as required
- CRM query resolution from inception to conclusion on behalf of Trading Managers on all product and services queries.
- Analyse, review and suggest improvement to ways of working to reduce CRM queries
- Work effectively with Trading Managers to ensure smooth running of promotional activities and the transfer of key data
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience of administration / data input
- Experience working to tight deadlines whilst ensuring accuracy of output
- 1 year experience working in a busy working environment
- Experience of using databases and working with high volumes of data
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Excellent Time Management skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to develop and maintain cross functional working relationships
- Can do attitude with the ability to embrace change
- Strong communication skills
Nice to have
- Previous administration experience within a trading or retail environment
- A-level or 3rd level qualification (business or commercial related)
